These terms cover your use of the Item Approval Workflow app for monday.com ("the app"), supplied by Kauê Natan Gonçalves Bidim, trading as Saoirse Software in Ireland ("we", "us"). Installing or using the app means you accept them.
A licence to use the app on the monday.com account it is installed on, for as long as your subscription is active, for your own internal business purposes.
The app is charged at the price shown on its monday.com marketplace listing. Billing, invoicing, tax and refunds are handled entirely by monday.com under the monday.com Marketplace Terms, and their rules take precedence over anything on this page about payment. We never see or handle your payment details.
The free plan covers 25 approvals a calendar month on one board; paid plans have no monthly limit. An approval is counted per item, not per click: the first time an item is sent for approval in a month it counts once, and for the rest of that month the same item can be sent again as many times as it changes without counting again. What each plan costs and covers is on the plans and prices page.
Nothing of yours is deleted, hidden or held hostage. While a subscription is not active — after a trial ends, after a cancellation, or after a failed renewal — and equally when the free plan's 25 approvals for the month are used up, everything already recorded stays visible and keeps working: the stamp on every item, the full history of who decided what and when, the board report, the Waiting for me list, and the sentence saying what changed since an approval. That is your own audit trail, and it is your record, not ours.
When a subscription lapses, only writing is turned off: sending an item for approval, approving, sending one back, and changing the board's rule. Renewing turns them back on immediately — there is nothing to reinstall and nothing to restore. Erasing your data is never blocked, not even with an unpaid invoice.
A monthly limit stops even less than that. Approving and sending back never stop, so an approval already under way is never left stranded half-finished, and an item already counted this month can be sent again as often as it changes. Only a new item sent for approval — or approvals turned on for a board beyond the plan's number — waits for the 1st or for a plan change.
We put this in writing because the opposite is one of the most common complaints about apps of this kind: full functionality that suddenly becomes paid and takes previous work with it. An app that hides last quarter's approvals the moment a renewal is late turns an audit trail into a liability, and we will not do it.
The app records who signed off which version of a monday.com item, and tells you when that item has moved on since. It is not an electronic signature product with legal effect — that is a separate category of software. It is not a quality management system: no training records, no risk management, no CAPA. It is not "read and confirm". It does not archive, lock, freeze or delete your items: a person who can edit an item in monday.com can still edit it after it has been approved, and what the app does is notice and say so. Deciding who may approve, what an approval means inside your organisation, and what must happen when an approved item changes remains your decision.
We state this before you buy rather than letting you discover it. The app sends no email and no push notification. What is waiting for a person to decide is on the Waiting for me tab, and can also be asked for in words through the assistant in your monday.com account, so nothing depends on a message arriving.
The app runs on monday.com's own hosting for marketplace apps and depends on monday.com's infrastructure and APIs. We aim to keep it working and to fix problems promptly, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service and we do not control monday.com's uptime.
The app is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim connected to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, or for a decision taken on the basis of an approval record. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Support is provided by email, in English, on business days. Write to help@saoirsesoftware.com. We aim to reply within two business days.
You can stop at any time by uninstalling the app from your monday.com account; billing stops under monday.com's rules. Uninstalling erases everything the app holds for your account, automatically and immediately, including the authorisation key — so keep a copy of anything you need from the board report first. Your items themselves are untouched. An administrator of your monday.com account can also erase everything from inside the app, on the Setup tab, without uninstalling.
We may end this licence if the app is used in breach of these terms or of monday.com's marketplace terms.
If these terms change, the date at the top changes and the new version is published here. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new version.
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
